Welcome to the fitness business Asia podcast. I am your host, Jack Thomas, and for today’s episode we are featuring Bobby Cappucio of Brooklyn, New York.
Now Bobby is not based in Asia but we caught up at the recent FIT Summit in Singapore as he’s spending some time there working for Institute of Motion.
OK, a little heads up first – today’s interview is a little bit different to our normal angle as we don’t delve much into Asia’s industry but I think you’re gonna really enjoy it and get a lot from it and when I met Bobby I just knew I had to get him on the podcast.
Bobby is one of our industry’s most well respected fitness coaches and speakers and is basically just an all round great guy.
He’s overcome a lot of adversity in his life to really come out the other side and make a big impact on this industry.
Bobby is modest, funny – he’s actually done stand up comedy before – and has a great take on coaching and learning that I think we can all gain something from.
Whether you’re a coach or a business owner, you’ll definitely get a few big take homes from today’s show. We had a good long chat that’s been broken down into 2 parts so here is part 1 of our interview with Bobby Cappuccio…
That was part 1 of our 2 part interview with Bobby Cappuccio. Our next episode is out on Thursday, we’ll be releasing 2 this week – so make sure you subscribe to our podcast for a notification on when it’s out.
We are now on episode 33 and in our previous episodes we’ve covered sales, marketing, branding, recruitment and much more. We’ve interviewed many of Asia’s top fitness industry leaders so I strongly recommend going back through our archives and downloading those that sound relevant to you.
Today’s episode was a little different so please do reach out and let me know what you thought of it – would you like more informal chats like today’s one? Would you like more direct, actionable podcasts on things you can implement today? Please do get in touch and let me know your feedback.
We will catch you in a couple of days for part 2, in the meantime, have a great week wherever you are…
