Welcome to the FBA. I’m Jack Thomas, host of the show.
Today’s episode is one of my favorite interviews on the show so far.
Danny Yeung is the founder and CEO of Prenetics, A leading genetic testing company based in Hong Kong and for those of you who were at the Fit Summit you will have heard his talk and appearance on the panel that I moderates.
Danny is a very interesting and inspiring guy – his entrepreneurial journey started aged 12 selling baseball cards and when his company ubuyibuy was acquired by Groupon in 2010, Danny sought out a new project with a deeper meaning.
Prenetics was that project and the company is making big waves. They’ve raised 50m usd in funding and through the right marketing and partnerships they’re make their genetic testing available to more people across Asia and the world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with Danny, both on the fit summit panel and in this interview that was done at his HK office.
it was very inspiring to see his HK office in full flow. You could really feel the positive vibe of a company doing something special and it was pretty cool to see he laboratory right next door doing their work.
Ladies and gents… here is Danny Yeung of Prenetics and Circle DNA.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Danny once again for taking the time to share his story.
He’s a very busy guy with everything he’s got going on, so I really appreciate it.
I hope you enjoyed the interview as much as I did – if you gained something from it please do share this episode with a friend and leave a 5 star review.
Thanks for listening, have a great week and I’ll catch you next Monday on the fitness business Asia podcast
