- Why I started this podcast
My name is Jack Thomas and this is the Fitness Business Asia podcast. Today, we have something different for you. I recently connected with Eric Malzone who runs a few podcasts of his own and also runs fitness business mentorship and consultancy – and regular listeners to the show will know that I love speaking to consultants as they have an insight into many different businesses that’s often hard to see on the outside.
So we had a bit of fun with our interview and took it in turns to interview each other.
Today’s podcast is Eric’s interview of me, so we talk about my story and journey in Asia with BASE, we talk about creating the customer experience which is an area of passion for me and, as he runs a US based podcast, we talk about the business and cultural landscape in Asia and how that compares to the US.
Talking with Eric was a lot of fun and one of the reasons I started this podcast was to meet people like him and make some friends and allies in the industry.
Please do check out Eric’s podcasts which are Fitness Blitz Radio and The Future of Fitness Podcast – he’s done some great interviews and he’s very knowledgable and experienced himself so there really is a lot of value there.
So here we go – the tables have been turned on me for this podcast – so here I am, being interviewed by Eric Malzone…
I hope you enjoyed the roles being flipped today. In the next podcast it’s the other way round, I’m interviewing Eric on his journey, the lessons he’s learned and we delve into some interesting differences between the US and Asia market.
If you enjoyed the episode today please do support by leaving a 5-star review on Itunes, Spotify or whatever platform you’re listening on and if you know someone who would benefit from this episode or any of our others, please do send it through to them.
Have a great week, wherever you are and we’ll see you next week for my interview of Eric Malzone…
